Bollywood's monsoon magic

Monsoon is the much awaited and favourite season of the year, when everyone feel rejuvenated and not to forget little bit 'romantic' too. A touch of romance added with an element of sensuality has given Bollywood many pulse racing, sexy songs. Here are some of them.

Whether it is a confession or flirtation, a rainy day packs in a whole range of emotions in Bollywood. Aamir and Sonali's 'Jo Haal Dil Ka' in movie 'Sarfarosh' is considered one of the most sexiest rain songs in Bollywood.

Tip Tip Barsa Paani' composed by Viju Shah for 'Mohra' feature the then couple Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon is still on many people's lips.

One of the sexiest rain song is no doubt Sridevi's wet number in Shekar Kapur's 'Mr. India'. Draped in blue, the actress has audiences drooling over her till this date.

Dusky, bong babe Rani Mukherjee with handsome 'Nawab' Saif in 'Hum Tum' singing 'Sasson Ko Sasson Se...' is the true example of 'romancing in the rain'.

Saris and seduction go hand in hand. No Hindi film heroine has escaped getting drenched. The chemistry between Rani and Abhishek Bachchan in the lovely rain song 'Kabhi Neem Neem' from Mani Ratnam's 'Yuva' was talk of the town for some days.

Beautiful and gracious Aishwarya Rai Bachchan brings out the true essence of Gujarati folk culture and monsoon in aesthetically picturized 'Barso Re Megha' from 'Guru'.

The much awaited pairing in Bollywood was Aamir Khan and Kajol in Kunal Kohli's 'Fanaa'. Though the movie didn't do well at the box office, the song 'Dekho Na' gave us the sizzling performances between Aamir and Kajol.

Rains are also used as a symbol for tears. In Yash Chopra's 'Chandani', Vinod Khanna remembers his deceased sweetheart (Juhi Chawla) in 'Lagi Aaj Sawaan'. Sridevi enjoys the rain looking stunning in yellow see-through sari.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' the movie which gave us the reason to wait for our prince charming has young and bubbly Kajol dripping in rain and singing 'Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye'.The music was composed by the duo Jatin-Lalit earning them instant fame.

'Dil Ye Baichain Re', Aishwarya's carefree dancing in heavy showers in Subhash Ghai's 'Taal' is the highlight of the movie. Beautiful cinematography adds more charm to the song.
